Well, it ran for 8.5 hours before I shut it down to check the results.
I’m happy. I have a placcy box that can be deployed anywhere (anywhere “dry”, obviously) to record for at least 8.5 hours. Add a bigger Ah battery pack and we’re into well long enough.
Here’s about as much excitement as you get in our street in one day 🙂

I’ve been recording all of this at 640×400 so far – “motion” needs a bit of work to do much better it seems. If I get time, which won’t happen, then I will try to help out. Here’s a still from today’s excitement in the metropolis.
Maybe a leaf moved, or something. Not one of them Datsun leaf thingies obviously. That would have run out of batteries, or something.
Already charging the battery pack for tomorrow. We shall see what we shall see then. At least having put this effort in I can know that I’ll never record anything important and nobody will hit my car again. That’ll do.
